Goal: Reflect personally on your own value, purpose, and inner growth, while connecting to the larger school community.

Materials: Paper, journal, or index cards; optional colored pens or a small token/stone to represent your reflection.

Step 1: Personal Reflection (5 minutes)

  • Prompt:
“Think of one moment recently in the school community when you felt truly seen, valued, or inspired—or when you recognized the value in someone else. How did that experience feel? What did it teach you about your own worth or the worth of others?”

  • Write down your thoughts. Be honest, detailed, and contemplative.

Step 2: Inner Exploration (5–7 minutes)

  • Prompt:
“Consider your own purpose, meaning, or inner growth as an educator or community member. What aspects of your own journey or spiritual quest are nourished when you honor the inherent worth of others? How does this reflection guide your actions, teaching, or relationships?”

  • Record insights, questions, or intentions. This is your private space—allow yourself to explore freely.

Step 3: Creative Expression (Optional, 5 minutes)

Draw, sketch, or symbolically represent your reflections. Ideas:

  • A garden with different plants representing community members and your own growth.

  • A pathway or ladder symbolizing your spiritual or professional journey.

  • A circle of light or energy connecting you to your community. (This can be simple–colors, symbols, or even words.)

Step 4: Integration and Intention (3 minutes)

  • Prompt:
“What is one small way you can act on this awareness of worth and purpose today? How will you carry this insight into your teaching, interactions, or self-care?”

  • Write a concrete intention on your paper, card, or token. Keep it somewhere visible if you like.

  • Consider:  Sharing your intention with a friend or colleague and/ or add the intention to your desk or somewhere you can see it to help you fulfill our Spiritual Quest and continue to pursue a greater sense of Inherent Worth.
