Approx. 5-10 min

Goal:
To cultivate awareness of your own inherent worth and the ongoing journey of your spiritual quest, leaving participants with calm focus, clarity, and intention.

Materials: Optional soft music, comfortable seating, journal for after-reflection

Step 1: Settling In (1–2 minutes)

  • Sit comfortably, close your eyes if you like, and take a few slow, deep breaths.

  • With each inhale, imagine drawing in light, calm, and openness.

  • With each exhale, release tension, worry, or self-judgment.

Step 2: Guided Reflection on Inherent Worth (2–3 minutes)

  • Silently bring to mind your qualities, strengths, and contributions, the center of your “Map of Worth and Quest.

  • Repeat a gentle affirmation, either silently or aloud:
“I am valuable. I am seen. I am enough as I am.”

  • Visualize your worth radiating outward like a gentle light, touching your relationships, your classroom, and your community.

Step 3: Guided Reflection on Spiritual Quest (2–3 minutes)

  • Shift focus to your path of inner growth and purpose.

  • Reflect on one area of personal or spiritual growth you are nurturing your “quest.”

  • Silently consider:

    • What is guiding me?

    • What lessons am I learning?

    • How does my journey of growth connect to my value and the value of others?

  • Visualize your path winding forward, integrating your worth with your growth.

Step 4: Integration and Intention (1–2 minutes)

  • Let the light of your worth and the path of your quest merge, forming a sense of harmony, purpose, and connection.

  • Set a gentle intention for your next steps:

    • Example: “I will honor my worth today and continue my journey with curiosity, care, and presence.”

Step 5: Closing (1 minute)

  • Take 2–3 deep breaths, wiggle your fingers and toes, and slowly open your eyes.

  • Optional: jot a single word or sentence in a journal that captures your reflection or intention from the meditation.
