Invitation To ASI Revisited

Now that you have carefully considered the invitation to take the ASI journey, we ask you and your team to revisit that invitation through a processing activity. Follow the steps below and when you are ready, we are ready to partner with you to engage in the entire ASI program.

Your School’s Possibility Map

Purpose: To help you internalize the ASI invitation, reflect on the potential impact in your own school, and decide whether you want to continue the journey.

Materials:

  • Large sheets of paper or individual journals

  • Markers, pens, sticky notes

  • Optional: calming music, soft lighting

Step 1: Centering & Reflection (5–7 min)

Begin with a brief guided meditation or silent reflection.

Prompt: “Take a moment to breathe and imagine your school at its best—where every student and educator is fully supported in their spiritual, emotional, and ethical growth. What do you see? What do you hear? What is the atmosphere like?”

Step 2: Revisit the Invitation (5–7 min)

Review a highlighted summary of the ASI invitation (or read a short version aloud).

Underline or circle phrases that resonate most with you.

Prompt: “Which part of this vision sparks hope, curiosity, or energy in you? Which part challenges or excites you the most?”

Step 3: Visualize Your School’s Possibilities (10–15 min)

On a large sheet of paper or in a journal, create a “Possibility Map” of your school.

Sections could include:

What could be different? (e.g., culture, relationships, wellbeing)

What would it feel like? (e.g., joy, purpose, belonging)

What steps could start this shift? (practical or small actions aligned with ASI principles)

Step 4: Sharing & Commitment (10 min)

In pairs or small groups, share one insight or element from your map.

Prompt reflection: “After imagining this possibility, do you feel drawn to continue exploring ASI? Why or why not?”

Optional: On a sticky note or small card, each participant writes:

“I am inspired to… [action/next step]”

“I am curious about… [aspect of ASI]”

Step 5: Closing Circle (5 min)

Share one word or phrase that captures your experience and hope moving forward.

Close with a gentle affirmation: “May the vision of your school inspire your next steps in cultivating connection, purpose, and wellbeing.”
